Abu Nasr al-Farabi: Science must serve the perfection of the human soul and the establishment of social order and justice. An ideal society is one in which wisdom, knowledge, and virtue take precedence over wealth and power.
The First International Congress on Combating Scientific Apartheid Presents:
We begin to be the voice of the silent cries that fill the world's ears but have never been heard. In a world where science should be a bridge to a bright future, it has sometimes become a tool in the service of discrimination, colonialism, and domination; a science that has slipped from the caring hands of humanity and become trapped in the polluted claws of politics.
The festival, "The Narrative of a Discrimination," with the motto "Science in the Service of Peace and Development," is an effort—small but enduring—aimed at portraying the unjust state of the world of science and knowledge.
Utilizing the eloquent language of art and with the help of the lofty thoughts of artists and creative idea generators, we depict the various dimensions of this scientific injustice and once again rise, hopeful for a just world.
It is hoped that this festival will serve as a platform to strengthen the bond between the artistic community and the scientific community, and mark the beginning of constructive and fruitful collaborations on the path to exposing and confronting the hidden inequalities in the realm of science and knowledge.
We invite all passionate and concerned artists and idea generators to present their creative works within the framework of this festival's themes and accompany us in this scientific-cultural movement.
This festival is part of the side programs of the First International Congress on Combating Scientific Apartheid.
